Yes we did Faye . . . but we called them gobstoppers. They used to come in all sorts of colours and we used to do the same thing to colour our lips . . . lol Aniseed balls were also a favourite for that too . . . ;D)
I do know that you can still buy them Ant but they've taken all the fun out of buying them from the 'penny tray' as they are now sold in a packet similar to Opal Fruits . . . errr I mean Starburst . . . ;D)
I too am convinced that they were smaller when my son was of an age to buy them, but they still turned his tongue black . . . lol
I never forgave the powers that be for charging tuppence for a penny Arrow Bar though . . . ;D)
I remember them being four for a penny off the old 'penny tray' Froggy – do they still have them? – and I seem to recall they were considerably larger than they became... or maybe it's just that I was considerably smaller back than... probably the latter! :^D
You have reminded me of Black Jacks and Fruit Salad chews Francine. They were sold in British sweet shops (candy stores) and were 4 for a 1d* (although I do remember them being 8 for a 1d very early on)
'Aint' nostalgia great? . . . :D)
I loved the Classic comic books. Great fairy tales. Comic books were 10 cents and the Classic ones were 15 cents.
...Had forgotten Kojak's liking for those.
Kojak's trademarks were "Who loves ya, baby?" and Tootsie Pops.
Francine, I remember buying a pint of hand-scooped ice cream for ten cents to make coke floats when staying overnight at a girl friend's. I didn't know I was this old! LOL
I remember the Tootsie Pops as a child - came in all different flavours too - think I remember liking the chocolate-flavoured ones.
There was a candy-comic book shop very convenient distance from the elementary school. Many candies 3 for one penny. Am reminiscing - am sure you had those too.
lol Faye . . . I'd never heard of a Tootsie Pop so had to google. I couldn't believe how many studies had been made to ascertain the number of licks it takes to get to the centre of a Tootsie Pop . . . :D)
It wasn't the nose, Froglet...it was the mouth...and I ignored the "hair"...didn't look like it belonged in this particular morph...but did think of Jay Leno. LOL

Hip Hip Hoor-ACED!!! Hip Hip Hoor-ACED!!! Hip Hip Hoor-ACED!!!
Well done Faye (Gemstone) . . . :D)
I bet it was that nose that gave it away . . . I just couldn't seem to get rid of that flattened twist on the schnozz . . . lol
Perhaps I should award brownie points to anyone who can tell me who's hair I used . . . ;D)

Sowwy, Ant. Although I scoffed a bit when Duncan suggested Tom Baker. But I scoffed too when he said Mick Jagger on the one he correctly guessed, so who knows? I may have to eat my words AGAIN!!! LOL
And I agree with you re Boris. I don't think he would be well known enough on the other side of the pond.
I look at those really pale eyes, and think I know them! But can't think who it is. Drats!
Two guesses from Duncan. Tom Baker (early Doctor Who) and John Thaw (Inspector Morse amongst other things). After his recent win, I dare not say anything about his meds. LOL
There are things about this morph that could be Dustin H or Rodney D. So that probably means it's someone else entirely.
But, I found this photo, 2nd photo down http://movieactors.com/actors/rodneydangerfield.htm
This is from an iconic scene in the movie Casper
I couldn't find anything likely for Dustin Hoffman...
Not just a puzzle, but a game as well. See if you can guess who the celebrity is. The face has been distorted and will be made clearer until a correct guess is given or I run out of photos . . . in which case I WIN!!! LOL
I hope to update the pictures at around 1pm and 10pm each day (UK time) and I will pop in from time to time to check on progress . . . have fun
Please feel free to make as many guesses as you want but if you are making multiple guesses at the same time could you please combine them to a single comment. This makes it easier for others to read through them and, more importantly, makes it easier for me to compile the incorrect list . . . thank you . . . :D)
