The University of Virginia was designed and built by Thomas Jefferson. this church was one of his works. There is a large amount of the original campus still in place and used today still, although, of course, it has been built onto alot, but almost all in original style. This is a beautiful church, full of original stained glass. See that oval window in the front, above the door? Its coming up next. BOY I WISH THE SUN WOULD SHINE!!!

Jefferson was quite an architect. This is an amazing looking church. Will have to visit this spring when we are in the area.
