Aha! That's why you like Darcy so much, eh?
Michelle, that's too funny. Pepper is the same..:)
We'll have to get some more just for you, Francine. (And you too, Jan!) I thought that you could use the pick-me-up with all the worries that you've had with wee Pepper. Warning: If you kiss him, be warned that he's got the fastest tongue in the west (at least from you, lol) and your back teeth are at risk if you laugh open-mouthed. I've had a few Charlie Brown's "Lucy" moments....ewwww, dog germs!
OMG, Michelle....: )))))
Adorable. And soooo kissable.
Thanks for posting. Sorry, haven't been in Jigidi much and didn't see this.
[Pepper still occasionally knuckling in both rear legs, since last week's episode. Improving daily though. We're now letting him walk around, some.]
Our guys love music too. While the other two frolic around and Darcy sings with most songs, Bonnie has a favourite tune. She will sway back and forth to "I'm a Believer". She tends to dance with her front paws only (since she is so wonky in the back end) but we find it adorable. She seems to know why I first sang it to her!
I love that story! So very creative and funny.
Michelle, Maggie loves the birthday song. Whenever she hears it, she grabs a squeaky toy and runs around squeaking it like crazy. In fact, she loves all singing. When I plug in my ipod and start singing, and she is there squeaking, we drive my husband crazy and he will come tell us to stop that racket! We both have the grace to look a little guilty....but will do it again whenever we can! LOL
His mommy (my daughter) just saw your comments, Jan, and quite appreciated them. She told me that this picture was before he had fully matured (less than 2). Darcy puts up with a lot of this with good humour! My daughter wanted Gandalf and fireworks for her birthday a few months ago (Tolkien lovers will guess which birthday that was). Well, I couldn't arrange for the great wizard himself but Gan-Darce did appear in concert with the cake and sparklers. I managed to find a dog-sized wizard's hat and he happily wore it while singing "Happy Birthday" (He barks along whenever anybody sings this song!). My daughter was duly surprised and pleased and couldn't stop laughing. I'll have to dig out a picture soon! I will be looking at Christmas pix too...
He is beyond handsome! What a great dog. He doesn't even look embarrassed or stupid in his dress up clothes! Great photo!! Love it Michelle! More, please....
Darcy wearing his Christmas formal-wear when he had just grown up and graduated to big boy clothing...lol. (He had to borrow the tie from his "grandpa".) Apologies for the Christmas gear to our American cousins who haven't celebrated Thanksgiving yet but we promised to give Francine a smile!
