or the kids just enjoy pretending to be scared
I think it's all in the manner that the story is read; if it's a droney voice....it's just a story. But if it's read like it really happened with lots of emphasis, it could be scarey....depending on how sensitive the kids are.
Hi Hanne and Tex, no parents don't. they give them a DVD of some Disney rubbish and let them get on with life on their own mostly. then they graduate to having a computer in their room and the rest is history. Of course there are still some parents who make an effort ,but because of today's political climate most are out at work and exhausted when they get home to the cooking and chores. My daughter used to be OK until the animals arrived then it was 'Oh no not the bears!'
I so agree with Hanne. I wonder if parents give their kids this kind of stuff nowadays. Thanks, Juneshone, I just adore these jigs that you put up for us! Keep them coming, please.
I wonder why we were not scared of these stories, indeed they are terrible!! Thanks so very much June!!
Hi Joyce, our one is back today. she went to her field on Saturday but it is too cold

leave them to it. We have a pygmy goat, woe betide any wolf that tangled with her
