This was taken through the window glass and through the screen on that window. I might not have been able to get that photo except for the screen. I was about 3 or 4 feet from the cardinal. ; )

It was through the window, and through the screen, but I like the slightly hazy look. Gives it sort of a "painting" appearance. Can't open any windows there because they were painted in, however, opening that window would have sent the cardinal scooting since the bird was only about 4 ft. from me.
