Thanks, Katzmum. I guess it must not grow everywhere.

This is lovely, I too have never seen it before, thank you!

That is so pretty. Didn't know that was what it was. :)
Cool!

This is lovely - great puzzle. I too had not heard of bittersweet. I thought it was just a word to describe an emotion! It's fun to learn an entirely new thing. Thanks!

texasstar7

I had to look it up, too. It's very pretty.

Bittersweet! It reminds me of my Mom. She used ot grow it and make wreaths out of it and put it into "fall bouquets."

Thank you, Suzy, Snooker, Robbie, & Shirley. :)

Francine-- Wow, 5 minutes of hail is a lot! I hope you didn't have any damage from it! We have also had frost overnight several times. Our flowers are done too.

Thank you, Jacques. Sometimes simple is good! Glad you liked this.

BTW, you and I have compared our individual weather in past. About 7-10 days ago we had hale for approx 5 minutes. We're in Eastern Ontario - waaaay too soon for this. Also had frost during night ..=..dead flowers.
..Oh well.

Thank you, Francine. I had the vine a couple years before I knew what it was! A friend stopped by and noticed it and told me what I had!

They're really lovely. Patti, I had to google as I knew nothing about them.
Thanks.

Thank you, Chickie, Ank, & Roseheather. :) I do enjoy it on the railing of the deck. But it's so prolific that I have to keep cutting it back.

roseheather

Love that title. I recall my mother taking my grandma into the countryside to get bittersweet in the fall.

puzzeljac
