I had to look it up, too. It's very pretty.

Bittersweet! It reminds me of my Mom. She used ot grow it and make wreaths out of it and put it into "fall bouquets."

Francine-- Wow, 5 minutes of hail is a lot! I hope you didn't have any damage from it! We have also had frost overnight several times. Our flowers are done too.

BTW, you and I have compared our individual weather in past. About 7-10 days ago we had hale for approx 5 minutes. We're in Eastern Ontario - waaaay too soon for this. Also had frost during night ..=..dead flowers.
..Oh well.
