[aside to GGL - there is a wonderfully refreshing white wine from Portugal, quite inexpensive, called Vinho Verde (Green Wine) - very sharp, crisp flavor best on a picnic in the summer and over ice.]

Actually, I am Scottish but today is good excuse to meet a few friends at an Irish pub and have a couple beers and some corned beef and cabbage. Wish you all could join me.

done my celebrating on jigidi, I don't think we bother much in England except for the Irish people who live here. He was born in what is England today, captured and taken to Ireland as a slave. There are various places he is said to have come from, one of them is where I live but who knows where Banaven was. there is a place about 16 miles down the coast called Whitehaven which means the same thing so it could have been there

Not a beer drinker...green or any other color...and I couldn't find any green wine (which is probably a good thing)....but I do intend to watch "The Quiet Man" with John Wayne AGAIN as my way of celebrating.......

Poor patsquire, it was SO exciting - the only boring time was when the gentlemen got too involved with the wimmen. We had TOO many popcorns waiting for them to go on with the story!! You might have liked it patsquire......!!!

I take one little hiatus for a few months of extremely dangerous, hazardous and jeopardish international-terrorist-and-criminal-apprehensionisticalism, doing good for the world on behalf of Bugosiland, U.N.C.L.E., MI-6, the Mossad, the Surete, the Boy Scouts of America, the YMCA, SPCA, Greenpeace AND the CIA, and during this little hiatus or, as I say, hiatus, lelabug squeezes in all these fantastical outer space adventures of derring-do, high risk and heroical heroism???
