Thanks V35, YO and chickie.
Try them yellow, the Fragrant Water Lily is native to Maine and the White Water Lily is available, producing whie, yellow and rarely pink blooms. In Buxton Maine there is a place called Snell Family Farm, they have all sorts of plants, vegetables and aquatic plants for sale.
Uh oh, do you see what I see tex? I'm not erasing this because I have info for yellow that took 20 minutes to type!
Well bookish, start again, interesting, I am sure you could find a pink one. I know you are in Canada, forgot where exactly. ( I think I forgot where I am! )
Thanks for the info PG.
Great way to describe Hanne, thanks.
PPM you clarified, thanks.
Thank you snooker, PK and EF.
Yes PKH, lucky they survived, thanks.
You are correct plumpy I had them in PA but the tropical ones are so beautiful and some close during the day and open in the evening. The varieties for tropical are so much more then the ones that you can grow up north not that the northern ones are not beautiful just less varieties.
Thank you Valentine, YO, chickie and yellow, they are pretty and last so long, they close at night and re-open next morning.
Tex dad is 87 and losing his mind. Jenny says I am 62 and lost my mind years ago!!!
A wonderful color & so delicate, thanks for sharing it, Robbie. Water lillies have always been a fav of mine but haven't the right place for them here. :)))
My dad drained the fish pond 2 weeks ago by mistake, killed all the goldfish and drained the plants. We cleaned the pond out and here is the result. New fish too.
