what happened ?

My dog loves stuffed toys...and she LOVES to shred them. She never eats the stuffing, just spreads it around. Then she plays with the shell until it's so shredded it has to be tossed. Loves to chew up her beds too!

We only buy "tuff" toys for our Border collie. If they are made out of that reinforced material or the tennis ball type material, they have a better chance. And, only the ones with the squeakers. If she can shake it and it squeaks, it gives her a great deal of pleasure!

That's what my dog does. He has two similar toys. And he does shake it so hard that fhe filling comes out. There's hardly any left. And I can't find another toy like that. It's the only one he wants to play/fight with.

Poor thing, the explosion destroyed his "toy" and he was having such fun with it. It was like prey - he could shake it and pounce on it. And then, the explosion. He is so sad. Someone should give him another what-ever-it-was. Poor dear!

He was something else. He was old and we bought a heated bed for him that's when I put the rugs on top as we paid too much for him to tear up

Everytime I bought our dog a new bed he would shred it. So bought memory foam and that was worse. The last one I bought one I put throw rugs on top and he never did it again.

Must have been a pillow or a stuffed animal :-) My dog would never do that, so there has to be another explanation.

Hmmm, but not a cat. Cats are much more subversive than this. A cat would have figured out a way to drag it indoors first.

I agree. It had to be an explosion. Dogs just don't do that.
