Adriana, thank you so much for the kind words & the hug. We all can always use one.:-)................
Sissel, I'm very happy that you like my flowers. I very much like yours, too. I don't spend as much time as before on Jigidi myself. There are so many other things to do that occupy my time..............
Hi Hanne. So glad you're back. I already sent you a letter, hawhawhaw. Couldn't wait!..............
Pat, you said it all. At least I can still take care of myself, drive, etc., but I just can't do any of the 'strength & endurance required' stuff that I could do just last year. That illness really laid me low. I never have recovered & I'm pretty sure I never will. And I do HATE to ask anyone for help!! But I'm being realistic. As long as I can take care of myself that's a good thing. I think of those I met while I was in rehab who are confined to wheelchairs. Their bodies are 'gone' but for some their minds are still very much alive---and I give thanks for my blessings! Thanks, Sweetie.................
Hi Ann I'm so thankful at my age I can still do everything. Some people don't ever stop to think how lucky they are until it's to late. I would feel the same way as you if I had to ask someone to help. But then we do have to count our blessings. Keep up the good work ...Ann
Hello Pat. Thanks for stopping by. This old gal has not come back to where I was before my illness last August, but then I'm not a young'un anymore so I guess it's to be expected. But I keep trying to keep trying ;-). I have to ask others to do a lot now (oh, how I hate that!) because I can't anymore. And then I think of the millions who are worse off than I am---& I give thanks for my many blessings. Thanks, Pat..................
These Mandevilla are absolutely gorgeous Ann, their a wonderful shade of pink (my second favorite color) I love them! Thanks for sharing them with us! ;)))
Hi Friends. I measured it today just for you two ladies. :-) Each blossom is 3" across---not too shabby! They are so pretty, too. I love the pink. This is another young plant---this is its second Summer with me. I hated to cut it back late last Fall but the care instructions said cut it back to about 12"! I did & it has really gotten bushy & growing up this 6' fence like gangbusters!! Thanks Mimi & lyndee..............
Thank you so much for taking the time to make such a nice comment, aggie. And I totally agree with what you said--they ARE beautiful. :-) ................
