I saw those puzzles, and I've just looked through my bookmarks and my solved puzzles folder to try to find them, because I was sure I did at least one... but I can't find it :~(. We say "boot" (and have car boot sales where people sell off their "tat"!!) I had a pram for my firstborn and a buggy for the next, and we go up from the ground floor to the top floor in a "lift"!! I put petrol or diesel in the car..... and when I'm not driving I walk on the pavement.... etc etc!!! LOL
I should have said one hour behind the east coast (Wendy, PD and lots of others). Yes, it's nice to know where people are from. A few months ago, somebody published a bunch of maps from different areas of the world and asked people to comment where they were from. I sure wish I would have bookmarked the puzzles. It would have been nice to go back and see who all commented.
Canadians generally spell in 'English', but I think there may be a few words that are different. Pronunciation is a different matter all together, not to mention the difference in some words as in boot for the trunk of a vehicle, pram for a baby carriage, etc. etc. etc!!
Oh, thanks whatnauts, I like to know where people are from! If you don't already know I'm in the UK! (Shhhhhh... do Canadians spell in English, then? - LOL).
oh, whatnauts, you missed the top by a second !!! Its good to know you enjoyed the waves, and if you don't mind, where in the world are you... I've always thought West Coast of the States, because of the times you're here... but you spelled colours the UK way???
