Wow LJ got a family of them :)
No warbler, chickie would never be jeaolus. She has beautiful birds and lots of them! If anything, I would be jealous of her, with her wonderful photography skills.Ank, no problem, You do so well with English. I don't speak a work of Dutch!
Thanks Pat, indeed Laura that is what I meant. Sometimes languages, sigh.
Wow! Laura. I bet Chickie is at least slightly jealous.
Yes, Ank, I did lure them in with food. Sunflower seeds, to be exact. Thank you, snooker. I guess I'm slow, sometimes!
Think she means did you put out food or bait for them.
I don't think I understand your question, Ank. Would you rephrase it, please?
Did you lured?
Thanks mountain, Pat, Nana and chickie. It's crazy how many I have. It hasn't been quite like this in past years.Hugs to you, too, Pat!I hope you all have a great Sunday!
Wow laura! You have the mother load there!
What a great photo! Thank you, Laura! I love Cardinals!
Love it thanks LJ ...Hugs
Good one photogent and a very beautiful sight Thanks laurajane
Thank you very much Lorna, PG and Robyn! Maybe when the new pope is in place, these cardinals will all go back to the vatican and I can save a bundle on sunflower seed.
What a gathering you have here! Thanks.
LOL!! Funny pg! The cardinals are real cute Laura!
Lets hope for white smoke and then we will have new Pope with all these cardinals in the area.
Lovely sight Laura.
The cardnials can't land on my feeders too well. They are too big for the squirrel-proof feeder and finch feeder. So I scatter seed on the ground for them. They have to share with the squirrels. What you see is the accumulation of empty shells, which hasn't been raked up yet. In the back there really is no lawn there. There's a bare patch for the birds and the rest is kind of woodsy. Hard to explain.
Laura, why are they on the ground as opposed to your feeders? Do you put seeds on the lawn? These are beautiful, and so many! Thanks.
Yes 9 there great photo lauraj
This morning I counted 17, but couldn't get them all in one photo. Plus, they kept coming and going. They just wouldn't sit still. Thank you Patti, Graci and petsmom! Great seeing you folks here.
Aren't they beautiful. The photo is so clear. Thanks for sharing.
You are so lucky Laura to have these beauties in your backyard! Great picture, thanks
Wow, nine!!!! Great! Thanks!
