Great fun. Good luck on the curled hearts project.
Oh, dear, I should never have 'fessed up! No, I was thinking of swirling the hearts (where the bottom pink one is--you can see I was curving the stack to the right there) around and up, but I had locked myself into a small canvas, so I had to stop there--not enough bottom space left to complete the transition. That meant there was a lot of black space left. Next time I will try to use a different canvas, so I can do the elephant bit and curl the hearts around--if I can figure out how to do it nicely, of course!
Well, goodness me, I DID think you planned it!!!!
SHHHHHH! People are supposed to think that I planned that, not that I realized that, once again, with hearts, I had all that extra unwanted black background...! LOL! I'm glad you like it, whatnauts, my heart lady!
Wow, PD, this is incredible!! And you ingeniously found a way to fill up the black space.
I do that too--I'll settle on a strategy that's worked before, and refuse to give it up even though it clearly isn't doing the trick this time... Stubborn little cuss, am I!
And thanks for mentioning the solves--more and more people are joining Jigidi, so I've been getting more solves, plus posting my puzzles under "mosaics" (even when they really aren't, like this one) seems to have really helped!
Nice puzzle. I don't know what my problem is but some days I seem to to out of my way to make things more difficult than they need to be. I certainly did that here.
You have quite a following. You had barely posted this puzzle before dozens of people had finished it. Congrats.
Awww, that's so nice!!! Thanks so much, siouxzn! I feel the same way during my first scroll through all the puzzles that have been posted since the previous evening--what new goodies will be waiting for me, I wonder! :-)))
Melting hearts! During my "lost weekend" you were asking us about puzzle style preferences, and wondered about some of our vaguenesses(?). Anyhow, it now occurs to me what my responses really meant. When I come to Jigidi each morning, its like Christmas morning, I can't wait to see what you've prepared and placed under our collective tree. THANK YOU!!!
