Oh, Mandy....maybe I'll make more of these in the future. It's definitely not my usual type of creation, but when I kept staring at it originally, I kind of liked it...which is why it ended up here. LOL
Wendy - this is gorgeous - the detail is wonderful on completion, and the roses remind me of Christmas trees and fir cones!!! I can almost smell the mulled wine! Thanks.
People do make appointments....but if they keep them they're usually late, so the clock would need to be about ten minutes fast......or ten minutes slower, depending on who's looking at it.......
I suppose we could leave the clock tower.....
OK, Mr. Bugosi, I'll start working on the plans, but keep in mind that the ice-cream stall is going to be tough one. There may have to be some utility poles erected to take care of the electric needs. I don't think ice cream stands up well to hot weather without electricity. Do people make appointments in Bonga-Bonga? The reason I ask is because it makes no sense to have a clock tower otherwise.
Mr. Bugosi, before I start on the project, and remember, it will take at least a week, I'll need to know if there's anything that HAS to be included in the park.
OK, Mr. Bugosi.....I'll consult with the planning committee and see if we can come up with some drawings for a new park. This may take a week or two....and that's only if we are able to find enough land that hasn't been used for tadpole wine production. A park that's only a few feet horizontally and vertically won't do.
Oh yes...we have set our sights on a BOP or two....just to keep people happy....(sort of).......
(Most of our open spaces are given up to tadpole-related projects).......
hmmm, I'm trying to visualize people walking down paths and imagining the paths belong to them. Is that sort of like when people walk down sidewalks?
I lived in New York for a summer, and now I'm thinking about reclaiming those sidewalks.
Well, they could be trees, giant frog ornaments with water coming out of their mouths, or whatever......The idea of a public path is that it keeps people happy - they imagine it belongs to them, which of course it doesn't......I mean that it is a good formal layout........for something or other....(maybe the other).....
Pat, the bottom line is that it's really weird and not like my usual stuff. I enjoyed the outcome though, so I sort of had to post it.
Mr. Bugosi, please explain. Are you suggesting that the green 'roses' grouped in threes are a bunch of trees....or what? Bonga-Bonga already has so much open land that there's really no need for a park.
You shouldn't be surprised by the solves--it's a wonderful puzzle! I love the sort of plaid look, with green roses, too! :-D Seriously, I love it, and I think you're selling it, and the one you made it from, very short!
I'm surprised by the number of solves (more than I thought it would get this early on)- so I decided that I'd post a 6 piece puzzle of the puzzle I used to create this one-

I'm not going to post it as a public puzzle, but it seems a waste of my time to have made it and not at least show it at all.
