I live right across the harbour from the runway K, near Tom Moore's Tavern on the Castle Harbour shore. Remember the old Castle Harbour Hotel? If you looked at that from the barracks, we would be about a mile on the right hand side. I have a new picture of the new hotel called Tucker's Point hotel I took from the boat couple of days ago, I'll post it.

Wow, you are really bringing back a lot of memories that I forgot about. I love that. There was a PX down on the dock. The commissary, which was the main grocery store was across from the barracks. From some of the pictures I saw online, I think it is still being used as a grocery store today. What part of the islands do you live on? I lived in St George for a while, but mostly on base in the barracks and then in Navy housing.

Thanks Robbiel. This has brought back a lot of memories. I wish I had taken pictures when I lived there. I remember the movie theater, the blue building was a Quick Stop store back then.
