Tom Peterson says "WAKE UP!!!!!!"

Tom Peterson was a crotchety character who had a cheap goods shop. He would give away these alarm clocks with his face on it. His commercials would start out "WAKE UP!!! WAKE UP!!!". It was enough to want to throw a rock at the television set. Do you remember him, Jan?

No idea who he is, but I'm certainly awake now! And I love the gilt texture peeking through the background, Gail! :)))

You know, every time I saw that commercial, I wanted to punch him! But I didn't because it would have hurt my TV! LOL
