lelabugosi

You're welcome, cakes!.......
Plumpy....uncle Bluebottle will have to build a possumcopter for you....try and hold on for just a few more years!...

Plumpossum

Send a possumcopter to rescue me!

Plumpossum

Sinking fast. . . .

cakes1947

Another fun puzzle.......I used to love crackers!! Thanks Lela! :))))
(Time, 1:59)

lelabugosi

End-of-your-tether-getting-confused......I am afraid I cannot speak here of Mrs.Bluebottle's 'anyway'..........(it is not open to the public).....
Plumpy.......The real 'organ-playing chair' is a work in progress, progressing in uncle Bluebottle's progressive workshop.........do you have a few years left?....

Plumpossum

I'm dying to see (and hear) an organ-playing chair!

Witzend

Oops, I do apologise for my rudeness, I meant OLDBAG.

Witzend

What's her anyway and can it also be seen hanging in the OLDGIT gallery?

lelabugosi

No, he sits upon Mrs.Bluebottle.......well, a painting of her anyway......

Witzend

Is this Uncle Bluebottle's organ-playing chair?

lelabugosi

pd-thingy.......I see my description has given rise to some confusion - this chair hangs in the Gallery AND in uncle Bluebottle's residence......AND in The Prado Gallery, Madrid.......AND in The Louvre, Paris.....AS WELL AS in New York, Milan, Moscow, Outer Mongolia, and The Galapagos Islands.........The reason being that Uncle Bluebottle had a full set of dining-room chairs that he chose to donate to museums around the world......HOWEVER, the only one that can be sat upon is in Uncle's residence.....as it stands on the floor......

Hanne-with-pipe......'TIS NOT I.....'TIS UNCLE HUMPHREY!.......(though we look very similar).....

Elfie

... or even Mr. Toad??

Elfie

But of course!!! Why didn't I think about that??? So you in the armchair has become Mr. ..... Rat?? Do you think so??

pdevredis

Before Mr. Squirt jumps in here, with a litigating lawyerly lecture, perhaps I may ask you to clarify something--is this in the Gallery or in uncle Bluebottle's residence? Or both?

lelabugosi

Was-shining......After suffering an unfortunate accident with his lawnmower, where he lost both hands, Uncle Humphrey spent a lot of time experimenting with frogs - he may have acquired his new hands then.......
Hanne-with-pipe......Yes, it is on display in the Gallery........The author of 'Wind in the willows' may have been inspired by it......

Elfie

This is a very special masterpiece, have never seen anything like it before - and it is to be seen in the museum too?? Did I get it right? Reminds me somehow about "The Wind in the Willows" and yet.....!!

juneshone

looks like Mr Frog's hand to me, too much tadpole wine? Mr Badger could be celebrating his reprieve for a year

lelabugosi

raincoat-infusion....this was before anyone had sat on it....
big-fish-in-Bermuda.......I think it was probably a horse.....

teamac

I like the woven effect with this piece of art...Very masterfully done :^)

Robbiel

I wonder what was in the cracker Lela?

twoclubs

and the worse wear

lelabugosi

Fear not, double-batter, for 'tis not I!........It is my great-uncle Humphrey, who lived the good life on his country estate......and died of an unnamed malady, somewhat the worse for wear........(he was an accomplished gardener - maybe, perhaps that would explain the green fingers).....

twoclubs

The badger is a trifle skeery! Why is your hand green, Lela? Did Badge bite you? I mean, look, it is glowing with gangrene. You need Uncle/Dr. Adonis ASAP! What would you do if you lost your hand? Oh my, oh dear, oh oh oh!! Get off that chair, I mean your seat, your face, your . . . .

lelabugosi

Um....not sure what he calls it..........(he did say something about 'Percy')......

gemstone

I hope that's a Hammond you're talking about.

lelabugosi

Oh yes, precious-pebble....for those who prefer to doze off (especially if uncle Bluebottle is practicing on his organ).......

gemstone

Would there be soft armchairs available, too, also, in addition to???

lelabugosi

piler-upper.......it has come to my notice that many people imagine they see me in these glorious works of art......I think the reason must be that I possess classical features such as those depicted throughout history by the grand masters, as representing the ideal of human beauty and sophistication......
If you ever visit uncle Bluebottle's residence in Little Bonga, you can actually sit on my face......maybe I should rephrase that - you can actually sit on this seat.......

stacker

Aaaah!! you two look soooo cute together. I can understand why you want to share this work of art with the world.

lelabugosi

In this image from the Bugosi Art Gallery (O.L.D.B.A.G.), we see a typical Bonga-Bongan gentleman sharing a typical Christmas cracker with a typical domesticated badger........It is an everyday scene which can be seen in all parts of the world, and is an example of the foresight and vision of the
gallery's creator (who so happens to be yours truly) in choosing to display not only works by the Old Masters, but also, as well, pictures of domestic simplicity.....
It is actually painted on the woven seat of a chair, which sits (hee-hee) in the residence of our dear uncle Bluebottle (in the sitting-room), and the artist is in fact uncle Bluebottle himself.......
