Kathy, I've never driven a Corvette, but would love to (any fast car, to be honest). There is a race track about 10 miles from me and did a few track days where you can drive the cars properly. I've got a very "sensible" car now.
When I heard that I had cancer it really hit me so buying the car gave me something to take my mind off things. We had great weather for months so could get the top down. Always good to see your smiling face on your comments!
Wow!! #1- CONGRATULATIONS on beating the big "C"!! And #2- fun fun on the cars. My college boyfriend was big into Porsche's and had a 914 at one point, also Vette's, so I learned a few things and got to go for some fun rides. The only Porsche I've been in in recent years was a Cayenne, just a fabulous machine.
Again, thanks for beating that old devil and being a Jigidi friend!!
I did buy a brand new Porsche Boxster S, just over 4yrs ago, within a week of being told I had the big "C"!! I had always wanted one so...................! I didn't think I would be here to pay the bills but, "bloody hell", I'm still here. I had it for 3yrs and loved it. I also got to drive a Cayman S for a few weeks and a few days with a 911 Carrera 4S. If I came into money I would get another one straight away!!
