Yes, a good friend of mine has a collection of these of many colors, shapes and sizes, and at a glance you would swear they were African violets (my mother's best plants). But then you look at that flower shape and realize, no, they're something else. Wonderful plants. Looking good, Plumpy!
Mariolyn, these are easier than African violets. Just keep them in their own little terrarium, and they bloom their little hearts out. Forget to water for a while, and they go dormant, only to spring back to life when water comes. They grow from tiny tubers, and will re-seed themselves to carpet the terrarium. I once made the mistake of applying a wee bit of fertilizer to one of them, and it objected greatly!
