53 years in the world of today, is a very long time to be working at the same place. Isn't it amazing how you just can't leave doing something you love? :)

It's been so long ago I don't remember. I was in a small 10 grade private school. I taught grades 9 & 10 - all classes. I had 6 students. I left there because a library position opened here in Maryland which led to getting my master's degree in library science. I've been a school librarian in the same school ever since 53 years now. Yes, I'm still working only now as a volunteer.

Mimi-You would love the snow! Really!
Ank-The rabbits are very busy around here. You will catch the hawk with your camera the next time!

Ardy-So you were near Franklin HS? I retired 5 years ago(special ed) , have done some subbing, and have come out of retirement for the year to help out a friend. Know Durand Eastman Park well--many family reuions there! I lived out towards the airport in the 19th ward.
I had a roomie who was in the library science program at Geneseo. Were you a librarian in the city school district? Such a small world. All brought together by puzzles!

I do love this picture and it will be fun to see this spot in different seasons, thanks my dear!

I almost transferred to Geneseo for my lat two years because they had a major in library science but I ended up staying where I started. Are you still teaching? When I was in Rochester I lived on Sobieski Street and the school was on Culver Road not far from Durand Eastman Park (I think that was the name) on Lake Ontario.

Born and raised in Rochester, Ardy! Student taught in Wellsville and Batavia. Went to college at Geneseo.
Bunny tracks in the snow!

A beautiful winter view. Are there Rabbit or Hare prints? I saw a hawk today, pity I was without a camera.

Suzy, I just now noticed I missed your question at my place yesterday. I grew up in Elmira which is on the south central border of PA and NY. I did teach for a year in Rochester before I moved to Maryland.

It looks like you are in a rural environment. Are those deer tracks? Love [picture. Thanks, Suzy.

If she gets a picture in late july the snow should be gone and you can see the stones at their best.

That's such a pretty picture, punkin!

I bet it's pretty in the summer.

I do believe it is our friendly local rabbit, Patti. He loves to winter in our sheds and hop about the yard looking for food.
Yes, gnt. It will! Thanks for stopping.

This is so charming, Suzy! A beautiful day. Do you know whose footprints are in the snow?
