Me thinks he's being cheeky tex!!
i love your jigs too texxas
MR, maybe it's too hot there, it is here, so we only have them a short time at springtime. Warbler, that is a great story. I didn't know you could even pick them up, wow! Morris, Jacques and RR, I'm happy you like my jigs, and glad you all stopped by.
Really nice photo tex. Thanks.
Robins, Waxwings and Prickly Pear! We used to have Waxwings come by and eat persimmons off the tree when ripe, and like you say, Texas, they would get drunk and act funny. You could pick them up and hold them, they didnt care the least.
This is a beauty, thanks Texas. We have both year round but don't see the waxwings as much in summer.
beautiful my dear!
Love it, tex!!
They're beautiful. Fileusa, I know what you mean, that's about all I get, undesirables, so far anyway. Thanks, Gracie & LJ, I hope you both see lots of them soon. Thanks, CM, on my way now.
I don't have a single waxwing. I love this!!
They are so cute Tex! lucky you to have them now even if it is just for a little while. They'll find their way here in a couple of months!
We tend to have only sparrows, pigeons and sea gulls. Too many houses and buildings around here. But I must say, what a lovely birdbath.
Yes, PLG! I thought of you when I was posting this. Roseheather, we only have them for a little while, guess they pass through on their way to you. They are just beautiful. Ank, remember last year when I posted that drunk one? Cel, I agree, they are gorgeous. Sis, I think you have to look fast, they aren't here very long. We also have Robins, Sparrows and Cardinals, among others. Thanks, Silver, I think so too.
Also, those little waxwings are so pretty! We don't have those, or I'm just not looking close enough!
We have Robins, Sparrows and Cardinals. I don't know what the other ones are. I need a bird book! Great puzzle, Sis! Thanks!
Lovely Tex, we don't have waxwings, they look so funny, but beautiful. Robins we have, but only in winter.
Such pretty little birdies :)
Lovely. The Waxwings have been a favorite of mine and used to come to our neighbors ornimental apple tree in March until they cut it down.
Oh, I love this one, TS! (But you already knew that!) Thank you!
Well, until they get drunk on those berries! ha, ha, thanks, Chickadee!
Waxwings look so perfect and smooth.
