It seems to me like they're going out of style here. There must be 8000 different wine makers represented in our stores now, but most bottles look - at a a glance - as if they are corked . Thanks Robbie.
Yes this is a classic Mimi, at first only New Zealand wines had the screw tops (in Bermuda stores) now they seem to 'pop' up from several countries (except France!!) Good puzzle, thanks.
It has been done by many and they are hard to replace unless you switch to a cork. Once you punch a hole in the top there is no need to unscrew it just pour.
