Actually, this could be a 1948, 49, or 50 - I don't know of any "spotting" differences. Since new models were traditionally introduced in September of the preceding year, this one could possibly show a manufacture date of 1947. Nice truck - my best friends dad had one of these "souped-up" in the early 60's.
