Deborah, write to me when you have some idea about when you want to get together. No hurry. I'll be here for a few months more at least. Rob, some of us here (mostly 100 miles west on the Oregon coast) got over six inches of rain in a 24-hour period. Even by Oregon standards, that's a lot of rain in one day.
I hear you Rob! Fortunately we have our power here, but there are those without. Had a lot of trees come down in the area due to so much rain and high wind gusts. We fared this storm pretty well.
No thanks - we got 90mm, or just under 4" in two days & a week ago we had half that amount! Our 3 month drought is well & truly broken, & my newly planted back garden is very happy ( & so am I!!)
There was lots of damage around the city from our last storms on the weekend - but not at our place.Lots of trees down & blackouts.
No snow, but a ton of rain!! Some will have to watch out for some flooding depending upon where they live.Fortunately I'm not one of them. It would take ALOT before I have to worry about that. By the way, do you want some of my rain? I'd gladly give it to you! :)))
We went through the stormy weather on the weekend - really spectacular, lightning & thunder. The best part was the rain that we desperately needed. Do you have snow where you are?
Thanks Rob! It's good to be back! :))) It shouldn't be too much longer before I have my own computer. We're having really stormy weather here right now, so I just hope I can stay on-line through it.
Good to have you back Deborah :)) I like this one. Having your own computer is definitely the way to go!!
OK, worst time ever - I was distracted by the beauty of the puzzle - that's my story and I'm sticking to it. It really is a gorgeous puzzle. Just one among so many. I enjoyed it - And the fun comments. Love learning new, technical computer terms!!!!!
I think you're a bad girl, Gail! I definitely need my own computer! That will come soon. I'll get back to you on next week...family things going on.
I agree with Gail! It's time for your own computer, and internet connection, Deborah. Or get a wifi modem thingy like we have at home. I can connect from anywhere in the house! Very handy when you're on a laptop, which is what I use.
And I'm so jealous of the Oregeon Jigidi girls being able to catch up. Have fun, you three!!
Methinks you need your own computer so your dongle doesn't go dangling again. I'm glad you're back. How about lunch the week after Thanksgiving, just us three Jigidiers, you, me and JiggyJan?
I have this little thing that's about 3" long and 1" wide. That's my connection to the internet. Do you know how easily that can be misplaced when there are three people using it!!! And Kirsten, it's not dark, only a spider web!!! Or so I told you... :)))
Woah! That was a hard 'un. Does it represent the dark place you've been in without us?
Oh, yeah? Are you OK? Oopsie. Where are my manners?
Oh no! Did you have a computer/internet problem? I wondered where you were. I told Rob if you didn't turn up soon, I was going to email you. So what happened?
Stupid little plug-in device!!!
When it's not found, I miss my friends!
