Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Where to start with how I made this one? The “fabrics” are patterns I made from kaleidos I made from textures I made myself. (Did you keep up with that? LOL!) But the frames were the inspiration for this one. I was experimenting with trying to make a metallic shiny frame. As you see, I didn’t quite achieve that. But I liked how they came out anyway. And thought they would make wonderful fabric button frames.

It gives me immense pleasure making puzzles, and I hope it gives you pleasure solving them. (•‿•)

Thanks Ardy! I really love how these buttons turned out too. I'm glad you're having fun in my archives. And hope you're sleeping well. ((HUGS))

Great buttons, Kirsten. I did only one size of these before so have two more sizes to play with. I'm going to have a good time back in your archives. Love it and you. Thanks. Time to make a final round on Jigidi and get ready for bed. ((HUGS))

Thank you JQ! Sometimes I worry that I overuse blues, purples and pinks so it's good to know that they are loved!! (•‿•)

JigQween

I love your choice of colors.

RandomWorship

Me too, Amber! I love that one as well. And I'm SO glad you're enjoying yourself with my puzzles. That makes me really happy. So thank YOU! (•‿•)

Thanks Kirsten! I really loved the red pattern on the top row. Keep posting these amazing puzzles!

Thanks Danielle. I really like how these came out too. And they were a side-shoot of an idea. I haven't yet perfected my original idea. But I'm not far off, so you should see that soon too. and I live in fear of running out of ideas. I like mixing things up and not doing the same thing over and over again. Even when I was only doing themed kaleido collages, it would be months and months before I would post a repeat of kaleidos made from the same items. I think that maybe you like to do different things too. (•‿•)

The number of good ideas you have to make pictures is just incredible, Kirsten. Your buttons are a real success!

Thanks Lexie!! I like the idea that I can say thanks to everyone too. I truly appreciate each and every person who solves my puzzles. And that would include YOU!! And thank you too for letting me know I'm one of your favourites. Sometimes hearing that kind of blows my mind. I can't quite believe that I would be someone's favourite. It seems like only yesterday that I was just a solver too, and had absolutely no idea how to make a puzzle. Gosh, time just flies doesn't it? Thanks again! (•‿•)

LOL!! Sorry about that Joanne. (Although you have given me a mischievous thought. Maybe I could make the message say "Congrats on the fastest time - JUST KIDDING!". Or what about "My. That was slow. You must practice some more".) LOL!!! Actually, I think it's one of those things that's funnier to think about then actually do. I would feel to guilty!! I'm bad at being bad. I was always the good girl. Still am. LOL

Oh, and I nearly forgot. Yep. It's a new feature. I'm not sure if it's just for people with stars or not though. Anyhoo - it's fun!! And thanks for the lovely things you said about my puzzles. Big smiles here!! I love having you visit too!! (•‿•)

I like the new thank you for doing my puzzle comment. You are one of my favourite puzzle designers. :-)

OOOHHH!! I thought I was Number Uno!!! LOL LOL There's a pop-up box now saying "thank you" from you. This must be something new and I like it.

Hi Kirsten, I just love your puzzles. I hope all is well with you.

RandomWorship

Oooh. Coasters! Yes!! LOL Thanks, Annie. Hester suggested they would make good pin cushions. And that made me think of lids for perfume pots. And I like your coasters idea too. I'll ask the design team at (my imaginary company) RandomWorship Enterprise to get onto those. LOL But seriously, thanks so much for letting me know you enjoyed this one. I really appreciate it!! (•‿•)

RandomWorship

Thanks Gail! I loved making these so much, that I experimented with a different fabric, and can't wait to make and post that one too. It's fun to have a new line in RandomWorship Enterprises! LOL And I think the technique I use is similar to what you did - perhaps just with a bigger range of colours. (•‿•)

Very cool fabrics. I think they would make awesome coasters. Thanks for all your hard work. I enjoy each and every one of your super creations.

Gaillou

This was so wonderful, Kirsten. I do love your fabrics. Now you have a new line--buttons! Is what you do something like what I posted under Gailarino last week?

RandomWorship

Thanks Barb! I hope you enjoy it when you solve it. (•‿•)

And yep - when I say I make the patterns from scratch - I mean that I lay down some colours. And then I run a million (perhaps a slight exaggeration! LOL) filters over them to make some interesting shapes. And then I run other filters over it that make patterns like these! With these ones, in between step two and three, I made kaleidos. And then I ran filters over those kaleidos to make these patterns. Whew!! (•‿•)

SunnyBarb25

Just wonderful and bookmarked again. Thank you Kirsten :)
When you are saying you are making every pattern from scratch, does it mean you are line drawing a pattern and then using different programs, working the shapes you want? I'm sorry I can't wait for your reply, I'm just too sleepy, so Good night! Talk you you tomorrow :)
