Place-des-Vosges Paris

We call it the ground or 1st floor. But now that I use my brain, more often it is the ground floor. :)))

Ah now we have a difference of language I think. the floor you walk straight into is called the ground floor and the upstairs one is called the first floor in Britain. So yes there are shops on the ground floor, and cafes. It was my favourite place in Paris. there are four sides like this forming a square around the green, I think it's a great shame that they have planted trees all around.

These are great buildings, love this style. Are these all shops on the first floors?? I think Noggin is waiting for someone to toss him a frisbee! LOL Thanks for another great puzzle June!! :))))
