LOL Robyn! I inadvertently made you do some research! Sorry about that. Moroccan food is wonderful - lots of beautiful middle eastern spices like coriander, cumin and fennel. And rose water, orange blossom water, pomegranate molasses and honey. All manner of pulses, nuts and seeds. Mmmmm. A vegetarian's paradise!!

And the wattle is an Acacia. The golden wattle is our national floral emblem. And the reason why our uniforms at the Olympics and many other sporting events are green and gold. If you google image "Acacia", you'll see loads of different types. And, in this corner of Australia, it flowers in late winter/early spring. For me, it heralds spring. How funny that our first flowers for spring are yellow.

And I hope we have a summer like yours. The last decade has been full of fierce summers - sometimes with days of 40C/104F plus. Sigh. And wilt! That's too hot for me! But they're predicting another one this time around - brought on by the El Nino effect. Sigh again. LOL

Now I must dash. I'm just home from work - and need to make dinner now. As always, it's been lovely having a chat. Stay well. (•‿•)

Thanks so much for your reply Kirsten. I keep thinking you're in the U.S. but you're in Australia, so, yes, you'd be finishing up your Winter now and welcoming Spring. I had to look up "wattle" and "tagines". It was wonderful to learn something new. :)) First of all, I'm sure the Moroccan food was delicious and their tagine cooking and serving vessels, if that's what they serve it in, are all gorgeous. That would have been quite a nice experience.

I've never gone to a Moroccan restaurant, to the best of my knowledge. Lots of other kinds but not Moroccan. I did visit Turkey once, which was an incredible experience and my brother's partner's ex is Moroccan and her children spend a lot of time there too. In fact her daughter moved to Morocco a few years ago (from Montreal, Canada) and married a Moroccan last year. She sent me a picture of their wedding and her wedding dress. Quite colourful and different.

As for the Wattle... I saw a lot of yellow blooms when I looked it up. Is that what you're referring to? If so, it's interesting that in Canada, the first shrub to blossom in Spring is the Forsythia, which is also yellow. I absolutely love Spring, for all the reasons you mentioned. How can anyone not love it? Well, perhaps they don't like all the rain that comes with it, but it's like a rebirth and everything looks so beautiful and smells so fresh. And those birds chirping.... just a wonderful thing to hear.

This past week was very muggy here. Lots of humidity which made it seem even hotter than it was, but before that and for most of the Summer, it was unusually cooler than normal, with warm (not hot) sunny days and nice cool nights. That's the kind of Summer I really like. I hope you have a wonderful Spring, my dear and you're right.... It's hard not to smile and feel happy when the sun is shining. \( ゚◡゚)/ celebrating Spring & (⌐■_■) sunglasses. You'll need them. (✿◠‿◠)

I'm glad you're well, and were just enjoying a change of pace. Actually I often notice Jigidi is quieter in the northern hemisphere summer. I guess that stands to reason. I'm OK. I've just got home from a week-end away - well more like 24 hours away really, as we left in the early afternoon of Saturday, and it's now mid afternoon on Sunday. But it was good to be away. And I'll be away next week-end too - so no postings from me until the following week-end. Our spring weather has really sprung this week-end, and we've have cold nights but gorgeous sunny days. It's hard not to smile and feel happy when the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and the wattle is out. And on that note, I'd best be going. I have some other comments to reply to, and then I have to hit the road again. We're going out for dinner tonight for my sister's birthday. A Moroccan restaurant that only makes tagines. I can't wait. It will be delish! LOL

Until next time, take care. (•‿•)

Awww, how thoughtful of you, Kirsten. Thank you very much. I am doing fine. :)) I took a bit of a break. I had company this summer too, so it allowed me to focus on that and some other things also and just have a change of pace, if you know what I mean. A change is as good as a rest. :)) When I recently started seeing patterns again in everything, I knew it wouldn't be long before I'd be back making puzzles, again, LOL. ;) How are things going with you?

Hi Robyn - just checking to see if all is well with you? It's been a while since you posted a puzzle now - not that I'm just looking for a puzzle from you. I just wondered if things are OK. I hope so. (•‿•)

So glad you enjoyed this one, Sue. I started another collage a few times but still have yet to finish it. I keep wanting to make more because I so enjoy doing them. I'll certainly let you know when I get another finished and posted, my dear. :))

So sorry to hear about Sachi's old email address not working (not deliverable). It would be nice to know how she's doing. I hope she checks in here again one day.

This is delightful, Robyn. Thanks. I'll have to try it in several sizes I believe. If you make another Sachi one, drop a line and let me know. I found a very old e-mail address for her a couple of weeks ago, but it came back undeliverable. So, that was a disappointment.

Some really lovely things here. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for dropping by and doing the puzzle, Kirsten, and leaving a comment. It's very much appreciated, as always. I'm doing fine, thank you. Hope you're doing well, also. :))

Good fun! Thanks Robyn! (•‿•)

And now I must away. I've just popped in to pre-load my puzzle for posting in a few hours. But now I need to get onto making tomorrow's puzzle! Hope you're well. (•‿•)
