Dear ColorCrazed, Jan and Gail ~ Please forgive me for not responding individually but there have been complications from my hand surgery and I am still unable to type. Thanks so much for your understanding as well as your lovely comments !

Ah, now I get it. Just solved the 12-piece one. Not only that, talking about my confusion, Raini and I talked for over an hour tonight, and she mentioned that she put a header about books. D'uh.

Jan, where did that come from? I can't see any reference to Jon Krakauer in this puzzle, so I'm confused. But then again, I'm frequently confused. Did I miss something here? If you liked "Into the Wild", you might try and find articles Krakauer wrote for Outside Magazine. He's a phenomenal writer. I read 90% of "Under the Banner of Heaven", about the Mormon Church, and couldn't finish it because it was so disturbing. You might also want to read the late Anatoli Boukreev's book "The Climb", also about the '83 Everest expedition. It will make you think about which of Krakauer or Boukreev is correct about the expedition.

Wonderful puzzle, Raini! If you like Krakauer, have you read "Into the Wild?" Hubby recommends Erick Larson books if you like Krakauer. I'm into Dystopian, so not much to recommend for you.
Sending healing thoughts to you!!! Jan
