Oh my goodness. Is this the train that goes up Fern Tree Gully? Please say yes! We left Wales and went to live in Melbourne in 1955. My father bought our first car while there, and he would take us for drives up FTG, to Maroondah Dam and the Healsville Sanctuary also. But the highlightwas always a ride on Puffing Billy.We came to NZ in 1957 but we have never forgotten the magical rides up what was Australia's most beautiful place [well it was in those days anyway.
