I had 2 Dutch roommates in college (who were from Canada) and their names were Anneke and Marjonneke. Ank, your full name is so beautiful. But nicknames are fun, too! Thanks for sharing that. Lorna, I will be posting my photos of Scotland when I get back, probably starting in December, as I get back on Nov 30. I was telling people to brace themselves for the barrage to come. Haha!
My name is Laura. When I was searching for a user name for Jigidi, all the ones I wanted were already taken. So I just added my middle name. No one calls me laurajane, except on Jigidi. None of my friends even know my middle name! I am getting used to being called laurajane now. It makes me smile because I know if I am called that, it's one of my online friends. As for Scotland, I used to live there, so this will be a "visiting friends" trip. I try to go once a year. I honestly don't get to sightsee too much, but perhaps I will be more intentional about it, as I now have my Jigidi puzzles to think about. Yes, all of my time will be spent in Scotland. The Dundee area, to be exact.
