The gas pump of the left had a handle that you moved back and forth to pump gas up out of the storage tank in the ground to fill the glass container that measured the gasoline in gallons, with a gravity flow dispenser hose. The one on the right looks more modern. I like the cigarette sign "Chesterfields SATISFY". Nice find Rob.
There are General Stores in our area that still look like this.... and are still in operation. The only difference is that the gas pump is more modern. The one a mile and a half from me recently closed when the old owner died. It even has cedar posts like those.
