Elfie

What a sweet photo, Sandy, they are so gracious!! Thanks so very much!!

chickiemama

LOL Monica. This was taken in the 70's. Yes, I'm an old fogy!

mhughes69

Is this a recent picture of you Sandy? For some odd reason I thought you were an old fogy like myself or close to it! L.O.L. Not that it matters, young or elderly you are fun to chat with!

chickiemama

Hi Monica. I am the one squatting on the right, looking at the camera. I do not know the other lady.
Robryan, I am pretty sure I wasn't very happy with the photographer for whatever. Just don't remember the details. LOL
No, no, no fatbean! You cannot eat them!
Thank you shirley.

shirley68

Cute deer, lovely ladies, Thanks chickiemama.

fatbean

mhughes69

AAAAWWWW, their so tiny! Are you in this pic Sandy? Or are these lovely young ladies related?

chickiemama

You are welcome warbler.
Awww, thanks Laura.

Robbiel

Fun puzzle chickie and interesting reading, thanks. Glad I didn't take the picture then drive you home!!!! If looks could kill!!

laurajane

Look at you, chickie! You were...and are...a pretty lady! Cute deer, too. But it's your picture that caught my eye. Oh, to be young again (in body only). Ha ha!

warbler

Thanks for the photo-I've been down that road many times, always looking, but never have seen them.

chickiemama

Thank you snooker and Healer.

Healer

Love it. They're too cute!

snooker

Nice photo of the deer. HB's cat looks very much like my Bandit. :)

chickiemama

Awww, thanks Suzy.

pumpkinhead

You look just fine for the age in the photo, Chickie. Of course, you would scowl at the camera at that age. It's what we all did. But you still look dang cute!

chickiemama

LOL You always have something nice to say Jack.

jacquescamus

You all talk about the animals but look at those beautiful ladies!

chickiemama

LOL chookies!

Aren't they morris? They are very friendly because they get fed treats a lot. People aren't supposed to feed them, but they do.

morris186

AWWW!! They are cute!!

chookies

They certainly are friendly little guys - more than I can say about the person looking at the camera!! Ha, ha, LOL

chickiemama

Hummingbird! I'm sorry. I looked at your cat avatar and thought I was talking to snooker. Thank you for your comment.

Lyndee, most of the time you have to drive north on a side street to see the deer. They lay in groups in people's yards near the refuge.

lyndee

We have never been fortunate to see these key deer. Thought when we drove down Key West we would spot one but no such luck.

chickiemama

Thank you Michelle, Maryrob and mimi.

Yes, young man, you don't every want that look from me! LOL You can get a hefty fine for throwing cigarette butts out the window along here also, because the deer eat them and and they look for them along the highway, which in turn, can cause them to be hit by a car.

photogent

And IF God forbid you hit one on RT 1 you can kiss you asp good by it is almost as bad a having the bad fortune to hit a Florida Cougar. They run all over the road and at night they are not easy to see. I am glad I was not taking that picture with that look.

mipahollo1

They are adorable, I've never seen so small a deer, thanks!

Maryrob

What pretty little critters, including you.Thank you Chickie.

puzzaddled

chickiemama

Thank you snooker, pilley, gnt, Patti and tex.

That is me on the right many, many years ago tex. Judging by the look on my face and the time this was taken, I was probably ticked off at the photographer. LOL

CelesteH

Adorable :)

texasstar7

Very cute, is that you on the left? I mean the human, not the deer!

PLG1958

They are precious! Thanks, CM!

gnt1041

pilley
