Stunning photo! I'm guessing it's a banksia of some sort and probably Australia. Any enlightenment KARLS?

It looks like a Yellow Bottlebrush to me - from Australia. They come in lots of varieties & colours.

What is the name of this wildflower? It's beautiful! Love the photo.

THANKS pilley AND loveydear, I HAVE TAKEN A FEW WILDFLOWER PHOTOS BUT THE BEST WILDFLOWERS ARE JUST ABOUT OVER. SOME ARE SO BRILLIANT BUT THE CAMERA DOESNT SEEM TO CAPTURE THE ADDED LUMINOSITY.
