Hester, thank you! Now I feel like changing my title to "Loony Lunar Landscape." I'll have to mull this over in my mind first. LOL
Just adding my compliments to your well deserved accolades! A loony lunar landscape with painted sand and great fun to solve. I'm actually on the board too...for now!! Thanks Wendy ! :-))
wilddog, Katie and Mandy, I'm very pleased that you enjoyed this one. :-)
SPECTACULAR!!! Thanks Wendy :~)
A very beautiful painting Wendy! Thanks!
Your puzzle is stunning and breath taking. You are very talented.
I'm so glad that you enjoyed this one so much, PJ. That makes the frustration I felt while creating this one worth it....seriously. :-)
Yes, Wendy - and your artistic, colorful interpretation is great. I have such a wonderful feeling inside hiking in that landscape - and Wendy, stand up and bow - you have painted that combination of what I feel and what I see. Wow...PJ
PJ, I just checked out images of Hardangervidda...and although there's a similar landscape, I think I probably have a few more colors in this. ;-)
Wendy - I'm soooooooooooooooo happy with the result. Thank you very much for your extra toil.Climbing up the mountain side, meeting the colorful view near the top, and seeing the landscape gradually flatten out (Hardangervidda)......PJ
Oh....and I still didn't get things 'just right.' I didn't want the 'peaks' as high as they are in the forefront but there was no way to fix it.
Oh, PJ, creating this one was one of the hardest ones I've ever created using gradients....but it was worth it in the end. I must have spent an hour trying to get things 'just right.'
Wendy - I love it.You have created such a wonderful, colorful interpretation of a well known scene when hiking in the mountains. Thank you. Really something I'd want to frame and hang on a wall.PJ
I'm so glad you had fun, lydie. :-)
