Saw a deer on a truck today on my way home from work...bow season here in upstate NY. I remember when on opening day, kids would take off from school to go hunting. Now, I rarely see a deer on a car or truck. Not as many hunters.

I just came in from outside and I heard a shot from the north and heard another one from the east. Maybe bow & arrow season is the last one.

I think that there is a muzzle or black powder season.

LOL I think bow & arrow is first and then rifle. There might even be a muzzle loader season. Not sure.

Probably chickie! After they hear the first shot! Is it shot gun down there also, or do they allow rifles that far south?
