Cool pic PG

Possum, your selection of Longfellow's words are a perfect match for this photo, thank you for those!
Bravo, young man. . . . .

morris186

Nice shot, pg!

puzzeljac

Very beautiful, Thanks PG. A great pic

Plumpossum

PG, the quote is from Longfellow's "Evangeline."

photogent

No just move a little faster then they do.

bradjan

So do we have to carry a weapon to keep from eaten by a gator?

photogent

Walking BJ. It lets you cross some of the wetter parts with having to kick the snakes and gators. Back behind the walk in the woods are paths and some of the time they can have a few critters crossing when you are there so someone had to give way and usually it is ME.

bradjan

interesting shot, the bridge is for walking or cars?

photogent

It's easier on the gators to get from one side to the other Pat.
Sally we do have some oozing up from the deep dark crevasses, OH sorry you were talking about the swamp....
Thank you Patti.
Plumpy so finely stated.

pkin38

Beautiful area would love to visit sometime in the fall. They even built you a foot bridge.

SMor2Ditto

It oozes up from the deep dark crevasses of the earth....

Plumpossum

"This is the forest primeval. The murmuring pines and the hemlocks,
Bearded with moss, and in garments green, indistinct in the twilight...."

Thank you Chickster there are over 7000 acres and the ponds are very large for the migrating water birds.
Only in the summer lyndee.

chickiemama

Wow! Your swamp is way more open than ours. Nice shot young man.

lyndee

It looks like a place that would be full of gators.

photogent

Lyndee it is fed off the Savannah river and that is where the gators come from.
Thank you again ediwis.

edlwis320

Moody, wonderful, thank you.

lyndee

I would guess it's below sea level.....but that's just a guess.
