So glad they found him again, so unique, Thanks Rob.

robryan

Ah - thanks Heidi - that all makes perfect sense!!

Surreal_Heidi

That nose makes a lot of sense. It can confuse a predator into thinking that his head is his tail long enough for the little cutie to make his escape. It can also confuse his dinner/prey into thinking that it's facing the safe end, and letting him get close enough to grab it.

robryan

Thanks Sandy:))

And an unusual mix of colours too snooker!! Thanks!

Thanks Ami :)) So do I!!!

Ah yes! Thanks for solving that puzzle Dave - it makes sense now!!!

He's a handsome fella!

Graciela

Beekay is right Rob, you always find the most amazing critters!

warbler

I figured out the lines by its head/eye-you can see it is raining a little, with the streaks, and one drop landed on the back of its head and is splashing off. You can see the main part of the drop of rain horizontal with the twig.

warbler

Sort of camoflage colors on the ends and blues in the middle. Thats interesting! I would think that snout would be in the way of eating. But I'm sure it has it figured out.

loveydear

I think it's wonderful Robyn!

snooker

Neat critter - lovely colors on him too.

chickiemama

Jawz

I LOVE him Rob! :)))

robryan

He sure is different Barb - makes you wonder why he developed that long snout!! Maybe he's told a few little white lies! Thanks!!

robryan

LOL! Thanks Beekay!! I'm not sure what those white bits are - they look a bit strange don't they!

SunnyBarb25

Thank goodness he did not go extinct, Robyn!

Beekay

You find the neatest critters Robyn. Are those long eyelashes or does he have a fancy crest?

robryan
