Carolina Chickadee NOT Black Capped

Here's a photo of the Carolina Chickadee to compare to the Black Capped Chickadee from PG last night. As in that discussion, notice the neater black bib difference. Also there is slightly less buff color under the wing and less whitish color on the wings. Both were common back where I lived in Kansas and it could be really hard to tell them apart when you considered juveniles, molting, ect. Also they are known to cross breed. BUT, the Carolina Chickadees voice or song is always faster with the dee-dee-dees and quite a bit higher and that was dependable.
