Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Rhododendrons and azaleas, evergreen and deciduous. I had no idea till I started making this that they are from the same family as ericas -- no resemblance whatsoever to the naked eye!

I had to go and check out vireyas after reading your comment! Some of them are very different aren't they? I like the look of the ones that hang down from tall branches.
I bet your garden is about to look stunning once all that mass of blooms comes out -- enjoy :))))

Rhododendron's are just starting to come into flower here in N.Z. Where I live it is only possible to grow the Veraya varieties in an extremely sheltered position or conservatory. Our frosts are too hard for them to be grown outdoors. I certainly did not know that they were related to the Erica's and want to say thank you for the information you add to your collections. I have 5 rhododendrons in my garden.
