Blizzard Watching

Hope you get this, Toto. I tried to see the comet yesterday evening. No luck. The wind whipped up a lot of dust and obscured the horizon. Saw lots of con trails with my binoculars. I'll keep trying!

We have another six inches forecast for tomorrow.

Hey JC, we got 12 inches the first storm and 10 inches the second. We didn't have too much damage but did lose two large limbs off of my beloved old apple tree. Rain/snow mix in the forecast for tonight but the meteorologist aren't predicting any accumulation.

I wondered how you were surviving, Toto. How much snow did you get in the second storm?
Another storm is headed our way, but it looks like rain. Will you get rain or snow?

Brie - Power flickered a lot but managed to stay on, probably because I was well prepared if the power went out. I remain convinced that if I hadn't prepared, the power would have gone off and stayed off with a vengence.

What a perfectly lovely way to spend a snow day. There is something so cosy about being on the inside, with a little light on - even though the snow is bright outside, a steaming mug of hot chocolate and the company of one you love - especially the for legged type. I hope you didn't lose power!
