Best not too if you're not sure, thanks nicco.
So pretty, but didn't realise it could be so dangerous. I would never touch anything, even in our little rock pools on the coast here in England!
Celeste there are soft and hard corals. This is usually hard and sticks to the reef in a thin layer. This one looks like a sponge, but I didn't touch it! Thanks. The brain and star corals are hard.
Guess it earned its name, huh?Very cool looking Is the corals hard or soft? or are there both depending on the kinds? always wondered that
That is for sure Healer, thanks.
It looks beautiful Robbie, but from what I'm reading, it's look, but don't touch!
Hi Graci, good to see you again. No I'm not, I suppose he will send 80 puzzles of fruit to all you ladies now!!!!Good for you PKH, at least you won't see them in the lakes! Not on the coast Mimi? I figured they might be down with your shrimp!
Such a beautiful looking thing. I'm not apt to encounter it here in Louisiana, but I'm glad to know its unkind properties anyway!
Red coral is on my AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE list. Thank you!

I found your comment. It was on one of my puzzles. Thanks.
Thanks for telling - if we should ever come across one of them!! You never know!! Thanks Robbie and Jenny!!
Awesome thanks Robbie
Hi Robbie, it's interesting for me, thank you
Hi Robbie, I think you left me a message about the issues I'm having on Jigidi, but I can't find which puzzle it was on. I ended up re-downloading Flash this morning, it worked for a couple of minutes, then I took a break. I'm back now late tonight, and it wasn't working again. So frustrated! Someone suggested opening up Google Chrome and it seems to be working. I'm so frustrated. I like Internet Explorer 7 and don't know why Jigidi is not supported by it right now. Grrr.... Thanks for your suggestion (whatever it was!).
You have such an interesting world and the time you take to share it with all of us is appreciated.
Oh, it's a lovely color but it looks a nasty one!!
Nice photo Robbiel. Pretty but dangerous.
Thank you chickie, lyndee, Buck, rob and PG. Yes I've had one experience myself and you never forget it!! Earings are made from a deep water red coral. Buck that picture is 20 pieces as well the day before.
I bimped into a little one while on a snorkel and it lit my fire. How could I have missed it in the water? You do that once.
I've got a pair of earrings made from Red Coral - it's a bit darker colour than this. Guess it must be a different sort of coral!!Thanks Robbie.
You wouldn't think something so pretty would be so dangerous. Great set again tonight Robbie! Well, except that I'm definitely not a jigidi marathoner, but I still liked that picture!
I'll leave it alone Robbie....... Sure is beautiful!
It sure is perdy though.
