That is a real shame. Living in such a small country that is so populated, I guess us Brits should be grateful that there are still swathes of open countryside around us.
I grew up in Monmouth County, New Jersey, and there were many scenes like this back then. Nearly every one has now been been destroyed for housing developments and McMansions. :(
Thank you. This was adjacent to the lavender fields. I just love countryside scenery like this. Interesting that this Cotswold scene has similarities to your "neck of the woods" pumpkinhead.
