Enjayem - I'm so glad you got to experience Antarctica! We've been to a lot of beautiful places, but Antarctica was the most amazing place we've ever visited. Yes, the small ships are definitely the way to go!
Did a trip to Antarctica in 2003. Penguins and icebergs......fabulous !! Small explorer ship is the way to go because large cruise ships don't land. That stamp in my passport is treasured.
