Jana that must be terrible hot. No then you can't do a thing. And then tomorrow back to 16. That will feel as cold, but maybe also as a relief. Our weather is strange too. We had one beautiful day, and then it was over. Grey, wind but the temp was good. around 22 degrees. This afternoon it started to rain. We had rain, not too much, but the east of NL had cloudbursts. It was pouring down. Very very much water came down. Now they can sail through the streets by boat. Luckily it was not as bad here. Have a nice evening dear, and sleep tight. Hugs :-)))))

Thanks Daisyjune Lorna Goosed Tek Patty Cathy and Jana. I like this photo very much. Did you see the yoke on the shoulders of the woman in the left.
Daisy that's a long time ago. Of course everything changes in so many years. But if you visit Marken nowadays you will see that it did not change much. Inside the houses of course, but not outside. I'm glad you did like it.
Clogs don't look practicable, but they are practical. I can't walk on it. Usually, only people who have done from childhood on, can walk on clogs.
Friends I'm glad you like this series.

The detail in this series is wonderful. Yoke, pinny/apron and headband. Love the clogs, they don't look practicable but they must have been.

Wonderful photo. And those wooden clogs are fascinating...
