Lovely buildings! I so love the architecture there! One of these days I'm going to have to talk my husband into bringing me here for a vacation! Just to check out the architecture alone! Well, maybe other things too, like maybe museums and arts and craft stores and maybe even an antique store or two or three! L.O.L. I'll just bet this place has all of these wonderful things to see!

They really do Hanne, it looks very nice. Jan you are right, this canals are just for small, low boats. But there are also canals where you can go with big boats. With movable bridges. When we still lived in the west, we sailed always through Amsterdam to go to Friesland.
