YOU, my dear. I believe you were describing yourself.

maddiekids

who do you think I was thinking of???? :))))

phloxie

Dear Maddie, LOL!!!! I did try.

You are absolutely right about the brown being like chocolate. I once painted the walls in my office that dark brown, and I put light blue on the ceiling. It was very warm, inviting and cozy. Although I did feel like I was inside of a piece of tootsie roll candy now and then. I painted the massage room 'red Georgia clay' that year, too.. . It glowed in the afternoon sunlight. It was like a terracotta clay color. The ferns and other green plants were gorgeous in that room. This puzzle reminds me of those rooms, now when I stop to think of it.

Your character description is wonderful. Let's all stand in line to be like her!!! I would put money on a raffle ticket to be who you describe. :)

dear Phloxie, Honestly, I had assumed you have a better eye for dullness... Even that "flat" brown isn't flat, it's chocolate brown (the flavour I like best, although I like them all, very much..even more than radishes, but that's another story, I mean the one that's somewhat lighter brown.. you know??),the brown also gives the orange part more cachet.. I love LOVE the -messy- flowers, it gives me an idea of who is living behind that inviting open window.. She's a bit chaotic, but warm-hearted, cheerful, and kind to everything alive, and she will always be glad to see you, ready to make some coffee the moment you look through that window.... And of course, she is also smart, because she lets her window wide open, even when it's becoming colder in the middle of autumn....but her idea is, when she closes everything, no one gets to see her beautiful chocolate-brown wall paper, and no one will just spontaneously walk in her door. So, she's keen....
So Phloxie... if you would really want to make me be able to get on the board, by making a dull puzzle...you still have to learn a lot, because this is only a part of what I thought when I saw this puzzle..... Boring? Dull??? Noooooo... :)))))))))))

Thank you Kirsten and Elizabeth. I do appreciate your kind words. :)

Violetta, this is stunning and I like this style of kaleidos, looks like a painting. :))

I think it has a certain elegance. Thanks phloxie. (•‿•)

Dear Maddie, as per our conversation sometime toady:
This is 'dull' because there is hardly any surface area. You can see the whole design in one look. There is nothing to hunt for, nothing unseen or subtle. I think the colors are not dull, however. I forgot to try to make them dull.... well, I did make the dark brown background, and it is flat... sort of recedes into the background.
