Robbie - He looks so very young! And when you think about how young most of those brave men were in WWII, it can't help but bring tears to your eyes. I know most wars are that way, but for some reason, looking at Dad's photo is really poignant for me!
Thank you! And, I know you're proud, too!
Pat - thanks so much! And, I will!
JB what a lovely group and fine tribute to all military families. Your dad reminds me of mine, although he was Royal Navy their uniforms look similar even the cap. You have reason to be very proud, thanks.
Awesome group thank them for me Jan
Chickie - I will do that! And thank you!
Very special indeed! Thank them for me please.
We're at the coast now and I'm just checking in.

Ardy is spot on, Jan! There's no mistaking that smile!! And you are right to be so proud of them all! :-)
You have reason to be proud. I love to see their pictures. Fantastic you still have your father ( mine is already gone for 40 years, but I still mis him). I hope you son in law will return quicky. I don't like that guys over there. He better be home. Thanks Jan for showing us this photos. I love it.
Thanks so much for sharing these with us, Jan--you must be very proud of them all! If I can find my old photos, I should post one of my dad, who piloted C-47's in the South Pacific. I love seeing all these family members, and reading their stories!
Thanks so much for sharing, Jan. You've got your Dad's smile and eyes. Great pictures. Thank you to them as well as to you.
Great Pics. Thanks for service. Being a submariner, would love to hear the stories your dad has to tell.
