Ah, your mother came from Brussel, yes now I understand. Yes this country is different. I like mine better, but I think the Belgium do love Belgium better. lol
I don't know Amsterdam well. I post the Amsterdam series on request. I lived my live in Rijswijk/The Hague. The last 7 years I live in the North, County Friesland, city Leeuwarden.

This reminds me of my mother's country - Brussels in Belgium - but is much prettier and greener. The roofs of the buildings are spectacular. I have never visited Amsterdam, but my daughter went there 2 yrs ago and enjoyed it very much. Nicky.
