John, same here next 5-6 months. The older I get, the less I like the cold climate here, but I do love spring, summer and autumn. I have also spent one year in Spain, but I much prefer the diff. seasons - or at least I used to. Never mind, dreams are OK and necessary. Your rain has arrived here - thank you so much - very generous

Lis, I will spend the next5-6 months thinking of the warmth and the sun. I do hate the winter months. I keep getting property catalogues for warmer climes but I never quite get around to moving!! Dreams................

thanks John for sending me the tail-end of an american hurrican. we already have enough rain never mind - have been to the library and have enough books, plenty of wood for the winter and plenty of food in the fridge. but I would prefer to leave a few footprints in the sand - just feel the the warm sand under my feet...

Leave a few footprints in the sand!! It's going a bit cooler here but we are having the tail-end of one of the US hurricanes and it has rained all day and the same tomorrow. I suppose it will be heading your way eventually!!
