Thanks Gail. We have 2 anti-virus software programmes running - Avast & Malwear - so have that covered! Internet Explorer hasn't given me any problems before - so will see what gives.

Try using Firefox....that is a good browser. I have an Imac and use Safari.

Here are a couple of my thoughts:
Rob, when my computer has gotten hung up in the past and acting all weird, I usually have a virus of some sort. I have antivirus software that came with my internet carrier, but I use an extra one called SUPERAntiSpyware. It's free and is an easy download. I run that every couple of days, and am constantly surprised at what it finds that my *paid* subscription doesn't pick up. Extra cookies, etc. It was recommended to me by someone who helped me with my computer. He's a system engineer at Intel, Oregon's largest employer, so I trust it. You might want to try that as a last resort.

Kirsten, TPTB have told me it's *my* problem whenever I've had issues because I have Internet Explorer. Hrmph. But I haven't had the one you're referring to. I also clear my browsing history, so I know you can change the settings before you do so. (Tools+Delete Browsing History). Just unclick History and Passwords, and you should be all right.

I've just sent my email. So let's see what happens. Sounds to me like there is a bit of a bug in Jigidi at the moment. I'm sure they'll sort it out.

Hey Kirsten, I've been running into the black thumbnails too! Maybe we should all send e-mails. But I thought maybe that was just me...guess not.

Actually Rob, I'm having the same problems. I tried re-loading Flash but that didn't help. I log in and out. Or close the browser window and re-open it. But it doesn't help either. And I've tried using Google Chrome, which seemed okay, but solving is really weird. The pieces go all floaty. So I'm back in IE. I'm reluctant to clear the browser history, 'cos there's some helpful stuff in there.

For me, the solve window hangs for ages. And sometimes I can't see the thumbnail in the puzzle window - it's all black. And refresh hangs like crazy. I've been managing, but it's not fun. I think it's time for me to email Magnus and Stefan too.

I'm not sure - but I think it's on Jigidi's end of things. Chris just cleared the browser for me (again!) & I've tried refreshing - repeatedly - & it's still got a mind of its own!! I've logged off from the site & that doesn't help either. Chookie in South Australia said she was having a similar problem yesterday - so I'll just keep sending emails each day until something happens!!! Cheers!!

Hi Rob - What is up with that??? Is it jigidi, do you think? Could it be your ISP?? I have experienced some of what you're talking about. I go and refresh the page and that usually fixes the problem for me. Whatever the source, I hope it gets fixed for you soon. It's extremely frustrating not to be able to solve!!! I hope you enjoy the puzzles when you can get to them, which hopefully is very soon!

Hi Deborah - I'm having Jigidi problems again/still!!! I can't solve lots of puzzles - just some!!! When I click 'solve now' it freezes when the 'preparing puzzles' process starts. GGRR!! I've sent off an email asking them to fix it. Just thought I'd let you know why I haven't done any of yours. This has been going on since last week & it's sooo frustrating!!!
